Présentation :


My background was Environmental Technology and Management from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand. In 2014, I have been working on the removal of heavy metals from acid mine drainage by using permeable reactive barriers from inorganic materials (fly ash, bottom ash and bentonite clay), organic materials (rice husk, coconut husk and pig manure digestate) and sulfate reducing bacteria for contaminants remediation from wastewater. Since then, I became more interested in the environmental remediation field. In 2015, I started my PhD studies on the topic of “Biochar for carbon sequestration and soil remediation” under the Advanced Biological Waste-to-Energy Technologies (ABWET) European Joint Doctorate (EJD) Programme, which is funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Fellowship. My host university is Université Paris-Est (France) and the project partnerships are UNESCO-IHE (the Netherlands) and Université de Limoges (France). The aim of this research is to produce biochar from digestates as sorbents for contaminants (organic and inorganic) immobilization from contaminated soils. Recently, I am working on the biochar characterization and sorption studies of heavy metals onto biochar.
