Présentation :

I graduated as Chemical Engineering at the Universidad Simón Bolívar (Caracas, Venezuela) and then I obtained an MSc double degree from the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí (Mexico) and the TH Köln (Germany) in Environmental Sciences and Resources Management in Tropics and Subtropics. The main topics I studied during my formation are water and wastewater treatment, adsorption engineering and resources management. During my MSc thesis I studied and modeled the adsorption kinetics of dyes onto bonechar. During 2014, I worked in a wastewater treatment plant of a cosmetic industry as analyst and operator. After this work experience, I started my PhD researched project on the remediation of PAH-contaminated soil using a soil slurry bioreactor in the frame of the Erasmus Mundus ETECOS3 programme. The aim of my research project is to develop and to optimize the bioslurry reactor technology for treating PAH-contaminated soil, as well, as to understand and to model the different mechanisms and interactions involved in this remediation technique.
